As the final days of February tick away, we get closer and closer to the greatest three weeks in sports. March Madness is huge all over the country, but we are especially blessed with a handful of tournament teams year in and year out in the Cincinnati area.
Cincinnati, Xavier, Ohio State, Louisville and Kentucky are all likely headed for an appearance in the 2014 NCAA tournament. I will take a look at what makes each team a Final Four contender, and what could prevent each team from making a run. As a general rule, I believe you can eliminate each team’s worst loss during a college basketball season. Over thirty or so games, all teams tend to tumble at least once when least expected. I will take out each team’s worse loss when discussing the resumes in this article.
The greatest day of his life up to this point was the day of the 2003 OSU BCS win over Miami in Tempe, AZ. He was in attendance thanks to the OSU student lottery and will never forget that game.
