Xavier used a balance attack to improve to 5-0 with a 93-65 win over Abilene Christian on Monday night.
Four Muskies were in double figures, Christon (17) Myles Davis (15) Farr (14) and Reynolds (11). Christon named to the “Naismith Trophy preseason watch list” last week, led the X-Men with 17 points and 6 assists. Myles Davis continued his sharp shooting from downtown, going 5-7 from beyond the arc, while James Farr just missed his second straight double-double and continued to impress with his hustle and strength down low, he finished with 14 points and 8 boards. Harrison Hawkins led the Wildcats with 15.
Xavier had a solid night on the offensive end, only turning the ball over 8 times while shooting 57% from the field, 46% from 3 (6-13) but they did continue to struggle at the charity strip, only shooting 58% (21-36). The Muskies did clean up on the glass out rebounding the Wildcats 45-21, including 16 offensive. A season high.
The Xavier newcomers continue to be the story 5 games into the season. combining for 57 points Monday night and accounting for 50% of the Musketeers scoring though 5 games.
The Musketeers completed a stretch of five home games that included a victory over Tennessee. Xavier leaves for the Bahamas and a tournament that opens with a game against No. 23 Iowa.

Stainbrook stuffed the stat sheet with 9 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals & 4 blocks. He led a dominate Xavier inside game over the smaller Abilene Christian Wildcats.
